starting an experimental artblog here. It's somewhat in conjunction with an independent studio I'm taking this semester that involved (I kid you not) drawing tons and tons of pictures of Matsujun.

I want to offer some advice for people who want to get a little more advice on drawing without getting the usual disdain of a fine artist. Check it out of you're interested in drawing tips, or you just want to see what I do for a major :D

actual resolution is 1680x1050, perhaps the most useless resolution ever, unless you have a 20" display like me. It's hard uniting the colors of the calendar/cookbook >.> but i really wanted an aiba WP of these pics, so here it is.

as a note, i tend to just make left-oriented WPs because of the nature of Mac desktops. Also, I keep my dock (toolbar menu thingy) on the right side, so this might be irritating for Windows users. I'll try to keep it in the middle next time -.-

mostly cropped images, did some color adjustments on a few but these are mostly trimmed for the new PSP slims:

image credits: boys_paper, google, okajun pics are probably from Yuki Boom (I kept the watermark thingy on one of them, actually). uh, i hope I didn't break anyone's rules about using their images, but these are ultimately going to be for personal use so hopefully i haven't angered anyone >.>;;; but i'll credit if you recognize something that's yours, just say so.

notes: still new at this graphics thing. I tried to keep it mostly bottom-right oriented because I'm not sure how to change the menu system on PSPs (without hacking it). So I tried to make them mostly so that if you were scrolling through the system menu, you could still see the focus of the WP. Of course, this makes group WPs almost impossible... -.-

Also, comment if taking any? These weren't ridiculously hard to make, but if there's enough interest, I'll make more, maybe take suggestions and/or requests or something :0

First Ep review: Hooked me even faster than Kisarazu Cat's Eye (and that got me in less than 5 mins). Hijinks, shenanigans, and the classic struggle of an adolescent guy trying to score for the sake of scoring, minus the gross humor. Believe it or not the shocking thing was Dorky!Anne Suzuki

First Ep review: Definitely worth pursuing, as soon as the torrent finishes -_- I thought the first ep was fast paced with some neat storytelling (esp. the first scene with the hospital), but Sush thought it was slow... >.>;;
